Content Science President Returns as Judge for 2026 International Content Marketing Awards

posted by Content Science

Atlanta, Georgia – Content Science President Colleen Jones will return for her second year as a judge for the International Content Marketing Awards (ICMAs), one of the leading global programs recognizing excellence in content marketing.

The ICMAs bring together leading content marketing professionals from around the world to recognize outstanding strategy, creativity, execution, and results across the industry. Jones will join an international panel of experienced marketing and content professionals evaluating this year’s entries.

Content Science is no stranger to the ICMAs. The company has previously been recognized as a winner, giving Jones and the Content Science team a personal appreciation for the caliber of work and rigorous standards represented by the awards.

Jones brings more than 15 years of experience helping organizations use content strategically to build trust, engage audiences, and achieve business goals. As she has explained in The Content Advantage (3rd edition), her approach combines creative thinking with audience insight, data-informed strategy, and rigorous measurement—perspectives she will bring to this year’s judging process.

“Great content marketing sits at the intersection of creativity and evidence,” said Jones. “The strongest work starts with a deep understanding of the audience and a clear strategic purpose, then uses measurement to demonstrate whether it actually made a difference. Judging the ICMAs gives me an opportunity to see how organizations around the world are putting those principles into practice.”

For Jones, returning as a judge is also an opportunity to learn from the evolution of the content marketing industry.

“Every year, I’m impressed by the quality and ambition of the work being produced,” Jones said. “It’s exciting to see how teams are responding to changing audience expectations, new technologies, and increasingly sophisticated approaches to measurement. Being part of the judging process is both an honour and a valuable learning experience.”

The judging process is designed to provide a rigorous and independent assessment of entries, bringing together an international group of industry experts to evaluate the work and recognize organizations and individuals advancing the practice of content marketing.

Content Science’s history with the awards—from being recognized for its own work to now helping evaluate the work of others—reflects the company’s long-standing commitment to advancing content strategy as a strategic, measurable business discipline.
