Content Science Issues Q1 2021 Nonprofit Donations
Atlanta, Georgia – Content Science has made its first nonprofit donations for 2021, giving at least 10% of proceeds from online products to renowned U.S. nonprofits fighting misinformation.
In honor of March being Women’s History Month, Content Science focused on supporting organizations fighting misinformation about or impacting women.
Recipients for Q1 include Pew Research, Launchpad2X, Stronger, and Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls.
Content Science Founder Colleen Jones says, “We started this policy of donating 10% of our online subscriptions and purchases back before COVID-19 reached pandemic status.”
“And the pandemic and events surrounding it have strengthened our resolve to support organizations battling disinformation. I’m thrilled not only to continue our program but also to focus this quarter’s donations on misinformation that undermines women.” Jones continues.
In the spirit of companies like Toms making a donation for every purchase, Content Science is contributing 10% of every purchase of these popular content education items:
- Certifications offered online through Content Science Academy
- Subscriptions to premium content at Content Science Review
Contributions are made each quarter to nonprofits with initiatives fighting disinformation and protecting truth in content.
“I believe in the power of quality, effective content. Content Science believes in it. And we’re excited to rebuild trust in it by supporting the organizations fighting for truth in content,” concludes Jones.
