The Content Advantage Release Date Announced
Atlanta, Georgia – The wait is over.
The highly-anticipated title, The Content Advantage: The Science of Succeeding at Digital Business through Effective Content, is slated for an Aug. 2, 2018 release date.
The book is the second edition of Clout: The Art and Science of Influential Web Content, which has been a top seller in the arena of planning, creating, and evaluating content with impact since its 2011 publication. New Riders, an imprint of Pearson Education, announced earlier this year plans to publish a second edition of the popular content book.
Written by Content Science Founder Colleen Jones, the new book includes more than 152 examples and case studies throughout, making it easy for content professionals to improve their text, images, audio, and video.
“The Content Advantage is more than a book. It’s a labor of love,” says Jones. “I’m thrilled to get this book into the hands of people who need and want to take their content to the next level.”
The Content Advantage will focus on content vision, the six elements of content effectiveness, and perspective on using artificial intelligence and machine learning to automate content creation, delivery, or optimization, among other focal points. The title offers a modernized and comprehensive approach for planning, creating, delivering, and optimizing content that will make any business thrive.
Industry leaders have also touted the book’s impact.
“This is one of those books you’ll want to share with your entire team,” says Jared Spool, Founder of User Interface Engineering and Cofounder of Center Centre. “Learning the proven techniques and developing the shared language will give your content the umph it needs to increase your organization’s competitiveness.”
“Colleen consistently stays ahead of the curve by helping companies measure the value of content and strategize on its delivery – whatever the new technology,” says Andrea Sutton, Vice President of Design Technology at AT&T.
“[The Content Advantage is] a good addition to our bookshelves. It’s more than a second edition,” notes Ginny Redish, President of Redish & Associates and author of Letting Go of the Words: Writing Web Content that Works (Interactive Technologies).
“I can’t wait for [The Content Advantage] to publish so I can share with my teams,” says Jennifer Hofer, Content Strategy Manager at Google.
