SITUATION
DSGa engaged Content Science to help state agencies manage content more effectively.
As the go-to resource for the hundreds of staff who manage Georgia government websites, DSGa is responsible for leading content technology, training, and best practices. To better serve the state’s residents, DSGa launched a multi-year initiative to improve content effectiveness, including implementing a new content management system, Drupal 8. The move to Drupal 8 also involved a significant paradigm shift in terms of how they think about and present content to constituents.
SOLUTION
Developing a content playbook, designing a process for agency engagement on content strategy, and providing training on key skills.
We worked with DSGa to assess their situation and create a plan to give individual agencies the right content tools and training, including content intelligence tools for analysis and tracking.
RESULTS
DSGa gained immediate and longer-term benefits from the content playbook and training program.
