Atlanta, Georgia – Content Science Founder Colleen Jones is set to deliver the closing keynote at next month’s virtual InfoCon event by ARMA International.
InfoCon will run during the week of October 26-30, with pre-conference events the week of October 19 and post-conference workshops the week of November 16.
“I’m delighted to deliver the closing keynote for ARMA International. With the exponential increase in digital content and information over the past several years, we need top professionals in records and information management more now than ever before. If we can’t find and use quality content effectively, we might as well not have it,” Jones says.
“ARMA International is thrilled to welcome Colleen Jones as our closing keynote speaker for our ARMA InfoCon 2020 Conference. Colleen Jones’ deep knowledge in the science of content usability are insights that records and information professionals will deeply benefit from. Her approaches to understanding the advantages that are provided through quality content are approaches that can be adopted by records and information professionals as we seek to understand information value,” says Jason C. Stearns, President, ARMA International.
“ARMA continues to make connections to adjacent professions and builds bridges to leading ideas that will benefit our professionals in the records and information space and we know that learning from Jones’ leading ideas will keep our professionals at the cutting edge. We’re very excited to welcome Colleen Jones to keynote ARMA InfoCon 2020.”
ARMA partners with information management and governance professionals, including the C-suite, through education, thought leadership, research, peer community, technology, and other resources such as certifications and events.
The virtual conference will feature more than 100 vetted sessions, both live and on-demand.
Internationally acclaimed futurist Theo Priestley will present “A Science Fiction Guide to Information Governance” as the kick-off keynote. Another keynote speaker Robert Bogue will address how to cope with the effects of COVID-19.
Now in its 65th year, InfoCon generally draws around 1,500 attendees, and expects more international representation this year than usual.
