Content Science Adds Key Leader for Growth and New Health Offerings
Atlanta, Georgia – Dr. Christopher Jones joins the award-winning firm Content Science as Vice President to sustain and accelerate scale. The announcement comes on the heels of Content Science earning recognition as one of the fastest growing companies in the United States.

Dr. Jones comes to Content Science after a successful tenure at Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), where he most recently served as the Director of Performance and Evaluation. Among his accomplishments at CDC are
- Leading multiple task forces and sprint teams to address issues ranging from health equity and social determinants of health to CDC strategy and performance.
- Serving in multiple roles of increasing responsibility for community intervention during the COVID-19 response.
- Publishing in respected journals such as American Journal of Preventive Medicine and Journal of Journal of Public Health
Management and Practice. - Streamlining a range of guidance and best practices across multiple health topics, research and evaluation priorities, and organization systems and operations.
- Managing multimillion dollar budgets.

In addition to leading Content Science’s efforts to scale, Jones will head up new solutions at Content Science focused on health.

Dr. Jones has deep experience with crucial health topics such as mental health, social determinants of health, heart disease, stroke, smoking, health systems, violence prevention, public health, chronic disease prevention, population health, traumatic brain injury, implementation science, health policy, and COVID-19. He also has cultivated strong relationships throughout the health ecosystem including federal and state government agencies, medical associations, educational institutions, pharmacies, insurers, health solutions companies, and more.
Additionally, Dr. Jones has led fruitful collaborations with experts in a range of disciplines including economists, medical doctors, lawyers, policymakers, epidemiologists, researchers, and data scientists.
“Dr. Jones brings strong technical subject matter expertise and trusted relationships to this role,” notes Colleen Jones. “He will build on the great work Content Science already has accomplished with diverse health partners to create modern and useful solutions.”
Dr. Jones earned his Ph.D. from University of Georgia, where he researched the effectiveness and impact of clinical social work interventions with high risk youth. He spent 10 years in clinical practice before joining CDC, and he maintains his credentials as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
