Content Science Launches Study of Content Operations in the Age of AI

Atlanta, Georgia – Content Science recently launched its biannual study, with a focus on the state of content operations in the age of AI (artificial intelligence).

“What’s the state of content operations in the age of AI? And what does that mean for you? These are the kinds of questions our team is seeking to answer,” notes President Colleen Jones.

The study focuses on client-side professionals and leaders with content responsibilities, with opportunities for them to participate in a survey and in a follow-up interview. Potential participants can take the survey through July 28, 2025. Participants from any industry are welcome.

Content Science has conducted a study of content operations and related issues about every 2-3 years since 2014, plus smaller supplementary studies. More than 700 professionals and leaders with content responsibilities have participated in our surveys and interviews about content operations.

Sample employers of past participants include but are not limited to Amazon, Best Buy, March of Dimes, Abbott, Udemy, The Home Depot, Cisco, US Bank, Mayo Clinic, Booking.com, Capital One, and ServiceNow.

Content Science conducts in-depth analysis of the data to identify insights such as

  • Top challenges to mature content operations.
  • Top applications of artificial intelligence.
  • Top success factors, or what the most successful organizations do differently.

A report based on the study, What Makes Content Operations Successful in the Age of AI?, will become available in early Q4 2025.
